Due to the increasing frequency of spambots visiting this forum, I have now made it impossible for guests to post. In addition to this, I think it may be wise to have limited registration - i.e. an administrator will have to approve an account before it gets activated.

Aw, that's too bad. A necessary step I'm sure but it definitely hinders people checking out the forum.

I highly doubt it's just a bot. Getting around Captchas means it's a guy actually doing it manually, most likely copy/pasting a piece of random crap from somewhere or another. Which would also explain why it's only three posts or so at a time, rather than pages and pages of posts.
Unless by bot, I'm mistaken of y'all's meaning. >.>

Oh.
Well, I have heard of scams in some countries where they pay people to just type what they see. In other cases, spammers set up fake porn sites and actually "steal" the Captchas off their target, having the people who visit the fake site fill them in.

Oh lord. Okay. Nice work stopping guest posts, if it was for the better. For one, I'm happy to review new member applications, as long as I get e-mail notification . Also, welcome to the team 31337 . Cheers, Franklint
